We set out to do one thing and do it well: prepare good food that people can pick up on their commute and make easily at home. A lot of complex thinking and technology goes into what we do, but the results are deceptively simple.
We want Prepped to succeed, and the only way it will is by creating food that people really want to eat. And that means being honest about quality and honest about provenance. And not tying you in to a plan of X number of meals a week, which – being honest – we know people don't always feel like eating when it comes to it.
We love nothing more than a good meal and we want you to enjoy yours. So a lot of thought has gone into every detail, with recipes put together by a leading chef, and restaurant quality ingredients sourced by her too.
One of the key visions behind Prepped was that our meals would be chosen on the day and collected en route, without extra food miles for delivery – and that meant putting an infrastructure in place to facilitate it all. We also hate waste, so we put backend systems in place to make sure we're on top of our stock and sales, to generally keep waste to a minimum.
